November 28th Event Cancelled; Most Venues Still Open with Reduced Capacity and/or Private Bookings
Due to the recently posted Alberta COVID-19 restrictions, we will not be going ahead with our November 28th event as planned. Please read on for more information on the continued safe operations of our galleries and some studios, including any available opportunities to book private visits at studios. Stay well and thank you for your understanding and your support!
Our galleries still have regular operating hours and some of our artist studios may be open for individual or small group tours by appointment. We will continue to post updated information here and on Facebook and Instagram, as it become available.
If private visits are indicated as being available, please contact studios directly using the contact information in their Galleries & Studios pages, to make arrangements.
Current Hours & Highlights for November 28th:
Open: 10AM – 9PM
What’s On: Bluerock Gallery will be hosting pop up markets and will be fully stocked with your favourite treasures and gifts! Open until 9 pm on tour days – giving you plenty of time to relax, explore and take in Alberta’s vibrant arts culture!
Until close of day on New Year’s Eve, every $100 you spend in the gallery will earn you an entry to win a gorgeous handcrafted rocking chair by Dallas Gara, worth $4400! Visit bluerockgallery.ca for photos and details.
Bluerock Gallery is currently limited to 8-12 visitors at any given time (exact number depends on the number of cohorts).
Open: 9:30AM – 5PM
What’s On: David will be demonstrating his techniques in the ceramics workshop (which is located adjacent to Eversfield Equestrian so keep your eyes peeled for some lovely equines as you visit), as will some of his ceramics students. You’ll find lots of beautiful and innovative ceramics available for purchase!
Firebrand Glass Studio
Open: 10AM – 5PM
What’s On: Come and join us at Firebrand Glass Studio to celebrate the Christmas season! We’ll be featuring glass blowing demonstrations and hand blown ornaments and one of kind pieces will be available for sale. This season give a truly unique gift!
Firebrand Glass will be accepting pre-booked visitors on November 28th with a reduced capacity of 8 visitors max at any given time. Please contact the studio directly to book your visit.

Leighton Art Centre
Open: 10AM – 4PM
What’s On: The LAC is featuring fine craft and artworks by 125+ local artists in the galleries of the historic Leighton home and on their online shopping site (shop.leightoncentre.org) all November and December. Beautiful decorations, gorgeous art, and the home’s historic ambiance combine to make visiting in person a memorable part of your family’s season.
Leighton Art Centre is currently restricting capacity to 20 visitors at any given time.
Lineham House Galleries
Currently Closed for In Person Shopping but offering safe Curbside Pick Up, Local Delivery, and Shipping.

Okotoks Art Gallery
Open: 11AM – 4PM
What’s On: During the holiday season, the Okotoks Art Gallery will be transformed into the Spirit of Christmas, your best choice for holiday gift shopping, all crafted by local artisans. The Spirit of Christmas showcases one-of-a-kind holiday ornaments, jewelry, cards, and the walls will be filled with original, local artwork for sale. Everything in this holiday showcase will be priced under $200 so you can enjoy this brilliant, yet affordable, original art. You can also bring a donation for the Tree of Warmth.
