Susan Kristoferson (1952 – 2024) was an accomplished artist and paper specialist, some of whose work was recently added to a permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. She found art-full inspiration everywhere and her creations included fine art collage, ornament, bookbinding and jewellery. She had contributed to a locally-produced anthology of art and prose and had begun authoring a book about the history of paste papers, of which she was one of only a handful of experts worldwide. She was an integral member of the Diamond Valley community, always ready to help with a venture and looking for ways to give back.
Shown in 200+ exhibitions, Susan’s work is in collections across the US, Japan and Canada.
Please note: Susan was an integral member of this art tour; her spouse Larry Kapustka and a few of their friends look forward to hosting visitors in Susan’s studio during the 2024 edition of The Most Beautiful Art Tour in Alberta.
